Bridging Gaps, Building Futures
Cultures in Unity (CIU) is a person-centred and community-empowering not-for-profit organisation that forges partnerships, bridges systemic gaps, and co-creates trauma-informed solutions that return power to people. We believe society’s strength lies in its people, especially those often overlooked or under-resourced, including young people and emerging community leaders.
By mapping community assets, maximising existing services, and sharing resources, we create complementary programmes that enhance collaboration and inclusivity. Through adaptable, co-created, and accessible sessions, we empower individuals, nurture future leaders, and promote equitable growth, enabling communities to thrive with resilience and dignity.
Our Story
Our journey began with a simple question: What can we create that isn't already being done to support individuals and communities to create the future that we all want to live in?
From the start, Cultures in Unity has been about people. Listening to their experiences, recognising their strengths and turning challenges into opportunities for connection. We have seen how the power of empathy, collaboration and fresh thinking fosters real change.
Today, we bring together voices from every part of the community to build futures that are inclusive, hopeful and resilient.

Our Values
Empowerment and Resilience
We empower individuals and communities to step into their power, nurture future leaders, and create the future earth with confidence and self-reliance.
Connection and Collaboration
We bring people together to connect skills, share resources, and create supportive networks that help communities grow stronger.
Equity and Opportunity
We believe everyone should have fair access to education, support, and opportunities, no matter what their background or barriers are.
